About This Website
This is the new site for the Hunter Valley, Great Eastern Ranges - Atlas of Living Australia collaboration project. The project focuses on the bird species found in Hunter Valley area of NSW and aims to help compile and store biodiversity data in the one location, as well as provide a tool for community engagement, interaction and learning.
The initial focus of the project is to gather baseline bird data across the Great Eastern Ranges Hunter Valley focus area. You can upload your observations by registering with this site. You can also register your interest in nominating your property to be part of our monitoring framework by clicking here.
Your sightings will be sent to the Atlas of Living Australia portal, an initiative to improve access to essential information on Australia's biodiversity.
